Un blog collectif pour l'histoire

"One Day in History" présenté comme "le plus grand blog de l'histoire" : les Britanniques sont invités à raconter ce qu'ils ont fait le 17 octobre sur un blog collectif qui sera archivé de manière électronique dans les archives web de la bibliothèque nationale britannique "British Library's Web Archiving Section which is a part of the Modern British Collection" avec des sponsors comme la chaîne de cybercafé Easy.
L'idée s'insère dans un concept global "History Matters Pass It On" (en gros : L'Histoire c'est important, faites-le savoir) soutenue par un certain nombre de partenaires : the National Trust, English Heritage, the National Heritage Memorial Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Council for British Archaeology, Heritage Link, Historic Houses Association and the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
